Gyeongju, South Korea
Very nice to see more of the partially reconstructed Silla temple complexes in and around the sites I could casually walk about while staying in Gyeongju. Here is the middle ground composition where there is a brilliant light blasting below that makes for a rough full reflection shot, a wall in the way to the right, and then open black space largely to the left making it really a trade off on what to actually show I found. In the end at least for this one I've given up a bit of the nice perfectly still reflection in exchange for a tighter crop without the artificial light glaring in the photo. I think the biggest decision tonight while deciding what to post was picking how much of the temple roof to give up in exchange for a tighter crop that I think draws the eye more into the photo. So here there is a bit of the slope of the closest roof and they are quite beautiful I think so I'm glad to include as much as I can. Somehow the absolute throngs of tourists like me didn't sneak into this much either.
