Atacama Desert, Chile
For a short walk around this particular trail I was impressed by the sheer variety and complexity of the landscape here. It was really neat to have the sand, rock, and salt sections of this part of the desert too! I thought it was a lot of fun to constantly be stacking the landscape in different ways around me. It's a little bright as because this is Chile it's a pretty commercialized and controlled park visit so no fun waiting for sunset lighting to bathe the valley but it's good to be reminded I am in fact allowed to take pictures any time of day not just at sunset or sunrise haha. It was also really cool to see looming volcanoes and mountains up in the Altiplano, one of which the eagle eyed may recognize from another of my photos on this site.
