Seville, Spain
Seville has these enormous mushrooms that emerge in midst of the historic city center. Honestly super fun to play with the curves, leading lines, and framing they provide as you walk along the walk ways above them. Still a touristy pay to stand on tall thing sort of activity you can everywhere but more fun than usual I think. Because of the canopy like design it makes for a really neat public space below as it overhands a plaza with a mix of trattorias. Unfortunately it's hard to get both the lights on and the setting sun so it's just the last clinging red fingers of light slipping away in the right corner. But I still liked the contrast of the modernity and the older historic skyline that was present. The gemini autocomplete thinks my next entry here should be about a fictional bridge that somehow runs between the builds of the city center.
