Was very cool to have seen a Tree Kangaroo in the wild! I read some rumours online that they could be spotted in certain spots in the Atherton Tablelands from the ground during the day and was very excited to actually see one just lounging about after a fellow tour member spotted one! Turns out while hard to see they are reasonably plentiful in the area which is so cool. Honestly I think I would love to go back and roadtrip around the Atherton area looking for all sorts of neat wildlife. I also got see fireflies for the first time ever out there too which was such a wild contrast to me.
