Todays photos came at the cost of one cellphone I unceremoniously waterboarded in the ocean. But I had a lovely time out exploring a bit on tour of the Tintoreras Islands just off the coast from where I was staying. Before this I had only really swam with the penguins when they got curious and came into the local snorkeling hole so it was fun to see them chilling and sunbathing on the rocks as we floated a bit off the shore from them. I probably should change the title of this photo to be the first in a series given how many photos of these guys I have! Also this is really a demonstration of just how good the image stabilization in the R5 and my lens are given the sharpness that was possible bouncing around on a moving boat.
