Honestly not the most exciting composition especially with all the other interesting sites on Yakushima but it was importantly close to where I was staying which made it possible to do a quick week day photo adventure and it was still fun to see the patterns of the water along the volcanic rock. I think I should have tried with a longer lens to get the view across the river with the trees and mountain though past the lava rock. I feel like there was good layering potential there that I remember not being able to quite get to work when I was down there. Oh wait looking back now I absolutely did so more edits it is then!
