Torres del Paine, Chile
I was trudging back down from Britanico when I realized wait there is no wind right now. And I remember glancing back over my shoulder and seeing that the lake was perfectly still which was not common at all during my visit to Torres del Paine. Which then I get a bit too excited almost jogging up the trail trying to find an opening out over the lake. I have a whole set of hundreds of photos I took at a look out point less centred over the water lookout because I really thought the wind would surely come back any minute and destroy the reflection on the surface. But eventually I got to move over here and get some almost as windless shots from a better vantage for the reflection I think. Maybe I'll post the other sometime. Also got to watch a meet cute play out too between two hikers bonding while out hiking.
