Saksun, Faroe Islands
This was a really nice end to my explorations around Saksun where I noticed how the lingering light was cutting into the protected bay. And then the pony escape artist appeared just along the path. Which I was extremely lucky they decided to come around the corner during a time of a wind lull so I could also get the reflection too. Really an incredibly shallow bay slowly filling with the tide making for a great mirrored surface. So there are other versions of the lighting I may process and post later but I thought it was very fun to have escape artist pony hidden in the photo too. Folks came to lead them back to their pasture but they definitely had the envy of some of the other ponies who didn't have the confidence or coordination to cross the ropes. Also somewhere in the bay is a seal who we surprised eachother at one point when they popped out of the water for a breath taken to be taken aback that there was a random human right there and for me to taken aback a seal just popped out of nowhere. I like the bit of mistiness too lending a small enchanted feeling as well to the further landscape.
