It is funny how coming back to this composition I'm much happier with it that I think I was at the time. Partly because I think shooting into the sun like this made it really hard to judge what kind of shot I was getting and I was trying not to burn any holes in my retina. Also I was a bit nervous having such a wide shot initially as the sky wasn't that interesting and it wasn't clear having so much empty space would have a pleasing effect of any kind especially as it didn't wrap around more of the frame or clearly contrast somewhere else to make for a focusing of attention. That said it was nice when there was ever so briefly colour on the horizon to compliment the row of start cherry blossoms and I was also able to get some water patterns as light faded a bit along the river which very interesting varied in flow patterns considerably here. This was also a rare example of a photo spot where I abanonded ship before full sunset since I decided the beautiful cherry blossoms and fun looking cherry blossom festival was where I wanted to be wandring about. And then I also found a nuclear waste disposal agency which was very funny to me.
