Copenhagen, Denmark
Was a little worried this would be a wash as it was a very grey day and this isn't the most colourful scene so in the low contrast it was very bland. But then we got some sunset lighting in the windows I was hoping for! Will be a really neat spot when the construction is finished so there is better balance to the composition and you are not awkwardly across from a swimming spot it turns out. Very cool that all the nordic capitals are building these urban swim spots in the cleaner waters and in particular Copenhagen within the old canals or waterways. If I had been equipped for a longer exposure session I could have mounted up with the tripod and done a flowing water effect and had blur to the folks too across the way that I think would have been a nice balance. But I was out on a more mobile photo adventure that day and it can feel little undercomfortable to aim a tripod at a bunch of peoples homes even with a wide shot that keeps folks from being recognizable so much. This structure had caught my eye a few times while I'd been heading off to see some performances so all in all was glad to have had a chance to attempt a capture at least.
