Isabela, Galapagos
Truly have so many photos of these oystercatchers as they tend to be out poking around in the sand for food along the tide line with a really nice reflection with water on the sand. Today I decided to edit this one since the oystercatcher had a little pearl of sand in its beak and there was nice ripples behind them and the leg moving giving a sense of traversal through the composition. The light had also started to fade which gave the water a silkier less saturated colour profile too I think which constrats nicely with the rich oranges, pinks, yellows, and blacks of the oystercatcher too I thought. A bit grainy and I should trust the modern image stabilizers more to shoot at a lower ISO ever hand held telephoto but not too bad all in all.
