Alhambra, Granada, Spain
This is another on the fly shot I probably wouldn't have shared in the past without my site to host to. Sometimes it feels like in a space that is so well trafficked it can be stifling to move about and try and capture an image. But I did again stop and spend forever in these alcove hallways of a palace chamber because of the incredibly preserved reliefs and window coverings that I could never quite get right I think. So here is a not satisfying but good enough composition. It was really cool to be able to be there with the sun blasting through and illuminating the tracery and making it bright enough to reasonably capture too. You'll notice on the walls a bit of a shallower depth of focus so I could get that extra light while shooting as slow as I could by hand (though I've learned to trust that modern internal image stabilization a lot more nowadays).
