Normally I try and scout before taking photos to get an idea of a site and the available compositions when doing landscape or cityscape shots and that helps and is honestly rule number one. But, that did backfire here a little since when I got back from scouting it rained TORRENTIALLY for this shot. The river rose so much overnight and did all throughout the next day and it completely changed the framings I wanted to do with the bridge and kept climbing to wherever I was standing trying to shoot. At one point my camera was hovering above the water the tripod fully submerged for the lower angle shot I was after. So somewhat tragically I couldn't get to a point where I could line up the mosque underneath the bridge sadly. I am still happy with the unique perspective though and having so much more reflective surface to catch the city even if it is too bad I could not get the mosque lined up under the arch.
