Atacama Desert, Chile
This was taken out under a moonlit night so the stars were a bit hard to pick up and less brilliant but I like that in a single exposure it also really illuminated the foreground rock pillars and landscape. This is a section of the altiplano in the Atacama where you explore among intricate and varied wind and sand carved pillars that also sing in extremely unsettling tones as the wind is funneled through them. Very spooky when out in the desert by yourself!
