Definitely a trade off shot where I think just to the left is a better through line for the eye into the photo but there was such nice lighting off to the right I decided to swing over for this particular composition. Possibly I'll post the other one sometime too. Also was really down to the wire here as a storm was visibly cross the islands which lends some character to the light here I think and gives a bit of a blur to the clouds. The wind is even visible blasting against the water as it runs down the ridges which is fitting because wow will it funnel into incredibly powerful blasts. Still think it's a bit regretable that the natural landmarks are being managed haphazardly by landownders rather than in a park system but it was still nice to get up here for a brief moment on the second attempt. And the drive over really is incredible too. Truly an incredibly dense amount of majesty into one location.
