Granada, Spain
I had no idea these processions were a thing until the first morning a float passed right under the windows next to my bed. I also didn't realize Zelensky was in town the week before either which would explain how the streets went from hosting anticraft systems to elaborate religious processions. Later while I was out on my way to do a small museum visit I noticed more of these wildly ornate floats - they're somehow carried by teams of people underneath - working their way through the streets of the city in a full parade. After stopping to watch and heading back to my apartment feeling regretful I wasn't able to capture the process on my camera, I learned the floats were on routes back to their "homes" right back passing my apartment. So impulsively I grabbed my camera to try and set up for some street shots. I don't love those but maybe I'll somehow find time to post those one day instead I did enjoy the juxtaposition of this one after following the float for a bit through the streets.
