Even though I was kicked out of this photo spot before full sunset, as sadly it's managed as a 9 to 5 roadside attraction, it was an incredible first foray out into the altiplano and fascinating to watch world's colour profile shift radically towards sunset. The bleak greyness of the afternoon broke into a warm bath of light as the cloud cover drifted off just in time for the last light of the day.
