Floe Lake, British Columbia, Canada
I will have to go back as in my rush as I was hiking in and out in the same day with a late start I didn't quite get the photo I was after. First I did not realize how large the rockwall of the mountains stands against the lake beneath making it hard to get the mountains all in frame and the reflection from most of the lake. I also was watching the water and not the sky in my rush when callibrating my polarizer so ended up with a bit of a odd dark spot in the sky above the mountains too. All in all I now understand why folks shoot from up on a little elevated part of the valley and down in or do a vertical or a ultra wide from the right shore to capture more. Really breathtaking place though, the feeling of grandure and presence of the mountains is hard to describe as you approach and finally see the scenery from a break in the trees.
