I was cursed and when scouting a shooting location in the monastery seen here I found this incredible framed view of the volcano in the distance over the city or at least at the time I felt that way. However many dollars and visits later I discovered that hallway can be closed, repeatedly, constantly it seemed. So finally on a last attempt and with nothing else left to take conciliation photos of in the monastery I wandered back up to a view from the castle above. And got some nice seagulls flying around and a bit of lingering sunset light and moody skies. And after bruising my hip leaning off the crumbling walls I came away with something that is growing on me honestly. But I am still not over missing the hallway shot.
