Torres del Paine, Chile
I spied the creeping of fall colours here on my way up to the Britanico view point and made a note to try and fit in a stop here for some photos on my way down. It was a bit of a sprint as I was doing this as a day trip and didn't want to miss my ferry back across the lake as it can be little absurd to hike in Patagonia with the intense commercialization. Thankfully I had plenty of time after rushing up the trail on the down trek to fit in a photo stop here to catch some of the famed reds of the fall trees. I spent truly an absurd amount of time trying to balance the limbs of the small pine on the right that were partially in the shot but I wanted to avoid going off trail egregiously but I think this balance of inclusion of them and getting more of the right side background is an acceptable trade off in the end. Was also funny to have a group of British women go past me and say wow yeah that is a good view there and also a great ass before realizing they were in earshot and running off up the mountain.
