I like having my own site as I probably would have skipped sharing this photo otherwise. I have some other photos lined up from this location that I think on something like social media I'd feel were too repetative to share into some kind of content feed. But here I do not care or feel that pressure. Mostly I am relieved I was able to get this shot as I had started heading out from shooting that classic optical illusion composition when I caught that the light might actually break the cloud cover. It really did not look promising for hours and the other place I was standing was just too close to cliffs for my heigh adverse brain so I was drained and ready to be gone. Except I saw these sheep and I started to wander after them hoping catch them up on a ridge line of the hill in silhouette. But instead was saw sunset coming through and abandoned the sheep and rushed up the trail looking for composition. So here I shot a few long and then scrambled to see if I get grab some smoothed wide shots too as the sun was slipping away. I got three I think shots captured of this complete colour explosion in the grey from a world before that was very grey and blue.
